Chamber Music The Chamber Music Program at the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) is open to all members. Chamber ensembles include string quartets, brass quintets, woodwind quintets, a percussion ensemble and various other instrumental combinations.
Chamber music groups meet either before or after orchestra rehearsals and perform each semester at Boston University and at special events. All groups are coached by some of Boston's most accomplished performers and teachers. These ensembles provide an intimate setting for BYSO members and their coach to share the joys of chamber music. Musicians can participate in chamber ensembles for one or two semesters.
