Thank you for your interest in applying for need-based financial aid for 2025-2026 ICP Winds Recruitment. We are committed to making participation accessible for all musicians and evaluate each request on an individual basis. Please carefully follow the steps below to ensure your application is complete and eligible for review.

 

How to Apply:

Please complete ALL steps below by 5pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

  1. Register for the 2025–26 Season
    • Complete your season registration through Active Network.
    • Pay the non-refundable $250 registration fee (required for all applicants; not covered by financial aid).
    • Opt into the payment plan. When you choose the payment plan option, no additional payments are required upfront beyond the registration fee. A decision on your financial aid award will be made, and any awarded aid will be applied to your account before your first automatic payment is due on January 15th.
  2. Provide the Required Tax Documentation and Submit the Financial Aid Application
    • Upload the first page of your 2024 federal income tax return (Form 1040). Be sure that all dependents are clearly visible. Documents must be submitted through our secure document portal (brief account setup required).
      • Important: The student(s) you are applying for MUST be listed as dependents on the submitted 2024 Form 1040.
      • Note: In some cases, we may request additional documentation to gain a clearer picture of your financial situation.
    • Complete and submit the online Financial Aid Application Form.
      • Be sure to fill out the personal statement with as much detail as possible. This helps the Financial Aid Committee better understand your family’s unique circumstances.
Important Notes:
  • Financial aid applications cannot be considered if any of the following apply:
    • There is an outstanding balance from a previous season
    • The $250 registration fee has not been paid
    • Required documentation is missing or incomplete
  • Late applications may be considered at the discretion of the Financial Aid Committee; however, please be aware that funding is limited and the majority of aid will be awarded to applicants who apply by the November 20th deadline.
  • While we are committed to supporting families in need, financial aid awards are not guaranteed. Each complete application is carefully reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee, and you will be notified once a decision has been made.
