Repertory Orchestra (REP) is an advanced, full symphonic orchestra composed of approximately 110 players of great technical and musical ability. During the season, all members participate in one of two chamber orchestras.

Program Highlights

Summer Music Camp

Students that audition into BYS, REP and JRO begin their season at BYSO’s summer music camp in Sidney, ME.

Exploring the Classical Period

All members participate in one of two chamber orchestras to develop specific techniques of ensemble playing and musical phrasing through the works of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, and others.

Notable Venues

REP has performed at Symphony Hall, Boston University’s Tsai Performance Center, and Kresge Auditorium at MIT.
