ICP Instrument Fund

Established in 2011, the ICP Instrument Fund provides grants for seniors graduating from our Intensive Community Program to purchase their own instruments so they can continue to play long after they leave BYSO.

Students participate in ICP for an average of 10 years and we work hard to ensure these students have a high-quality string instrument from their first day of lessons, to their final performance. However, as their path moves on from BYSO when they graduate, they must give their borrowed instrument back to BYSO so that another young student can have the access they did. This fund exists to ensure that our graduating students can purchase their own Forever Instrument and never go a day without the gift of music in their lives.
