/ Tour Day Two: Bach Museum Tour

On day two, we decided it was time to pay a visit to our Bachfest hosts at the Bach Museum and Archive. There, we enjoyed the perfect history lesson to accompany the music we are preparing to perform!
If you look closely, you will see that Bach's middle button is undone because he would walk around town with his manuscripts tucked into his coat, close to his heart!
Discovering early versions of our instruments at the Bach Museum and Archive.
Learning about Bach's roots in this city inspires us to better understand and play his music.
We are so lucky to have this private tour of the Bach museum, and then to go to rehearsal afterward to play his music! On Friday, we will play for the people of Leipzig at a free outdoor concert in the Market square.
Our first rehearsal with the chorus!
