Katrina Reinhardt, Cello
GBYSO changed my life. In writing my memoirs recently, it has become clear just how important GBYSO was in my life. I mean, to have introduced me to MICHAEL STEINBERG (who is still a DEAR friend all these years later) and awakened me to Bruckner's amazing world.....I live for music. The Seattle Symphony here is pretty low-level compared to what I have known BUT I just returned from new York where I went to a concert of Leon Kirchner's 4 quartets (the 4th is new) and then spent four hours with Leon the next day, alone, listening to music, talking music. I am 62 now and plan to put something in my will for GBYSO. Marvin Rabin was an incredible influence also. So, though I don't play the cello anymore, music is still my life. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
