Patricia’s interest in music began with her father’s love of Russian orchestral music and continued when she began singing in middle school.  While she pursued a degree in vocal performance, Patricia sang lead roles in San Jose State’s opera program and soloed in choral works.  More and more, she found that she enjoyed the intersection of vocal and instrumental music found in opera, chamber music and choral pieces.  During her final year, she decided to devote herself to the creation of music through administration.  Patricia joined a MA program in arts administration and has been working in operations since.  She loves the fresh approach of young artists as well as the unique connection between performer and audience that is only found during concerts.  Patricia Driscoll is very excited to be working with the BYSO, one of the finest youth programs in the country.

Patricia recently completed her MBA at the University of Cincinnati and is finishing her thesis to complete her MA in Arts Administration.  She also holds a BM in Vocal Performance from San Jose State University.  In the past, she has worked for Opera Theatre of St. Louis, VAE: Cincinnati’s Vocal Arts Ensemble, and the Aspen Music Festival and School.
