Donate Musical Instruments & Related Items
The BYSO is seeking in-kind donations of string instruments for our dedicated young musicians comprising the nationally recognized Intensive Community Program (ICP) and our other BYSO orchestras. Instruments must be in good condition and ready to be used. If you have an instrument that you or your children have outgrown, there is a young BYSO musician who would benefit tremendously from your generosity. Cases, bows, metronomes, tuners and music stands are also greatly needed. Below, please find a list of our current instrument needs. The BYSO is currently NOT accepting violins that are not full-sized and in excellent condition.

Basses: Three ½ size basses
Two ¾ size basses
Cellos: Three full size cellos
Violas: One 16’ viola
Violins: One full size violin
BYSO Orchestras Needs:
Bassoons: One contra bassoon
Clarinets: Two low e-flat bass clarinets
Five A R-13 clarinets
One E-flat clarinet
Flutes: One alto flute
Horns: One plastic English horn
