Ways to Give
The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) is widely regarded as one of the finest youth orchestral programs in the United States.  Offering sixteen performances in some of Boston's finest venues, the BYSO is one of the most programmatically ambitious youth orchestras in the country.

The 2007-2008 season's operating budget is $2.4 million, which makes the BYSO among the largest youth orchestras operating in the United States.  In addition to programmatic costs, the BYSO also needs to raise $109,000 this year for financial aid.

As a non-profit organization, the BYSO relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, government agencies and corporate sponsors because tuition only covers one third of our total cost per student.  There are several ways that you can support the future of classical music.

  • Annual Fund
Your generous donation will make a difference.  The Annual Fund supports artistic excellence, concert production, community outreach, tour support and financial aid.
  • Endowment Fund
Through endowment gifts, donors ensure the BYSO's future.
  • Planned Gifts
A planned gift today will support the musicians of tomorrow.
  • Corporate Support
Corporations that support the BYSO are offered a variety of benefits to acknowledge the difference they make in the community.
  • Tribute Gifts
Tribute gifts support the Annual Fund and are a wonderful way to honor special occasions or a meaningful way to mark the passing of a friend or family member.
  •  In-Kind Donations
The BYSO accepts good quality string instruments for its nationally recognized outreach program.
