  • BYSO concert programs reach a highly targeted audience of exemplary young musicians, their families and classical music lovers who enthusiastically attend and participate in an array of cultural activities.  Also in attendance at concerts are the BYSO’s generous corporate sponsors and philanthropists who support the organization.

  • BYSO will partner again with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) to collaborate on the BSO Family Subscription Series for the 2010–2011 season! After the success and sold-out performance of the past season, this partnership is considerably expanding our audience base and visibility.

  • BYSO concerts take place at world-renowned venues, including Symphony Hall in Boston and Sanders Theatre at Harvard University.

  • One of the country’s leading orchestras” - The Boston Globe.
BYSO 53rd season will maintain high-profile concerts including the fourth consecutive performance of a full semi-staged opera: Verdi’s Macbeth. The Boston Youth Symphony remains the only US Youth Orchestra to perform complete semi-staged operas. BYSO has also commissioned a World Premier by the multi genre violinist and composer Mark O’Connor which will be performed in March at Symphony Hall.

  • Free Web Advertisement on BYSO website. BYSOweb.org is rated as one of the most visited websites in the sector with more than 22,000 page views a month from all four continents.

  • BYSO is comprised of about 440 student musicians. Many of these students are immersed in the college selection process. Moreover, many of the 2011 BYSO graduates plan to pursue music in college.
