Sarah joined the BYSO in September 2011 as Executive Assistant.  Just prior to the BYSO, Sarah worked for a year as Executive Assistant to the CEO at American Well Corporation in downtown Boston. 

Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and French in 2010 from Boston University followed by her Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Fundraising Management in 2011.  While at BU, she has been involved in many aspects of the Arts including dance, musical theatre, a cappella and viola performance, performing with such groups as BU On Broadway and The BosTones A Cappella.  She currently pursues a Masters in Arts Administration at BU and sings in two Boston area vocal ensembles, Fermata Town A Cappella and Convivium Musicum.  Sarah is truly honored to work for such a well-established and exemplary youth arts organization as the BYSO.

With a passion for the future of Arts organizations, Sarah focuses her studies on arts education and cultural policy and has especial interest in understanding the support of arts and culture internationally. While an undergrad at BU, Sarah had the privilege of studying abroad in France where she interned at the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and during her graduate studies, Sarah studied Foreign Cultural Policy in Barcelona, Spain.  Other relevant coursework includes: Raising Funds and Grant Writing for Nonprofit Organizations, Legal Issues in Arts Administration and Advanced Management and Consulting for Arts Organizations.
