Manager, Chamber Music Program

Katherine came to Boston to pursue her degree at the New England Conservatory of Music where she studied cello with Colin Carr, and chamber music with Eugene Lehner, Irma Vallecillo, and Scott Nickrenz.  Subsequently, she won a three-year fellowship with the New World Symphony where she often performed in the chamber music series.  She spent three summers at the Tanglewood Music Center.  While in residence there, she was involved in many collaborative projects with groups such as Jacob's Pillow Dance Company and Shakespeare and Company.  She performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout Chicago, Miami, Boston, and London, England and is currently a member of the Boston Philharmonic, the New England String Ensemble and the Key West Symphony.
