Chiara Marsoner joined the BYSO team in Summer 2009. Originally from Italy, Chiara studied Business Administration for Arts Culture and Communication at Bocconi University in Milan and has a Conservatory Diploma in Classical Guitar. After her studies Chiara moved to Belgium where she started her work experience in the field of youth and music. She worked in the marketing department for Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) in their Bruxelles headquarter and then moved to Valencia as general coordinator of the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra for their International Tour. In Europe Chiara also freelanced for the Fondazione Lirica Arena di Verona. In Summer 2008 Chiara moved to Boston for her MS in Arts Administration and Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management at Boston University . While in the program, she developed connections and experiences with local arts organizations, worked as Teaching Assistant for BU Global and started her collaboration as Editor for the Consulate General of Italy in Boston. Her passion for youth orchestras brought her to BYSO where she is now Audience Development and Marketing Communications Specialist.
