Ben Hires, Director of Operations
Ben Hires has been a full-time BYSO staff member since 2003. In 2007 he was promoted to the Director of Operations. He was formerly the BYSO Operations Manager. Mr. Hires began working for the BYSO as a student completing a Master of Theological Studies from Boston University. He works with all of the BYSO artistic and administrative staff, parents and members on all aspects of producing rehearsals, concerts, international tours and auditions. Mr. Hires also earned an undergraduate degree in philosophy and political science from Boston University and is currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Arts Administration. He enjoys working with youth and helping them in their personal and musical development.
