I'm currently the Principal Timpanist of the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" in Washington, DC. I am also a percussionist with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and can be seen on a PBS video entitled "Music to My Ears" which is slated to be aired nationally sometime this year. I would love to hear from the guys that were in the section that year. Just a quick note to announce that I was recently married to Eric Sodee at the Meridian International Center in Washington, D.C. We had lots of great music...a brass quintet, a string trio, a reception band and my stepson played the bridal march on the snare drum as I "marched down the aisle."
