How You Can Help
The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) is widely regarded as one of the finest youth orchestral programs in the United States. Offering sixteen performances in some of Boston's finest venues, the BYSO is one of the most programmatically ambitious youth orchestras in the country.
The 2011-2012 season's operating budget is $2.7 million, which makes the BYSO among the largest youth orchestras operating in the United States. In addition to programmatic costs, the BYSO also needs to raise over $100,000 this year for financial aid.
As a non-profit organization, the BYSO relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations, government agencies and corporate sponsors because tuition only covers one third of our total cost per student. Donate Now
