I still have wonderful memories of the trip we took with GBYSO my senior year in 1985. I remember the last city we visited was Dubrovnik, Yugoslavia where we played Fanfare for the Common Man outdoors on the top of a castle. Anyone remember that?

I've played with the Chapel Hill Philharmonia since 1996. Thanks to GBYSO for my ongoing love of playing music and for amazing travel experiences to places that have changed so much since (Sarajevo, Budapest, etc.) My son Carter (now 3) has been joined by sister Macey (1). I work at the new James B. Hunt, Jr,. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy.
