Susan Blank, Cello

Rita Swartz Buckley, Violin

Ray Claflin, Clarinet
Bedford, Massachusetts
My wife and I am now busy taking care of our two children, Elizabeth 10 and Rachel 3. I am President of an electronic scientific instruments representative firm. We provide support for environmental groups like Balance, Carrying Capacity Network, and the Population Institute. I am not active in music at the moment.  I really enjoyed the wind ensemble and Mr. Summers who conducted it.

Earle Goldstein, Tuba

Janet (Mentus) Harrison, French Horn

Don Hicks, Violin

Marilyn Paleologos Kapetanakis, Violin

Andy (Langer) Langowitz. Flute
Still living in Boston area (Wellesley) after all these years, and still playing flute on the side (New Philharmonia Orchestra), after a hiatus during which my wife and I raised three children (now 18, 16 and 13).

Ellen Watters, Cello
Medford, Massachusetts
Today I am working as a social worker for the Mental Health Services Program for Youth (MHSPY). I help kids who are at risk of being placed out of their homes and communities. I am also the community arts coordinator at MHSPY, designing art/music therapy groups and services for kids utilizing the arts. I still play the cello, and am currently playing principal of the Melrose Symphony Orchestra. I play in a folk-rock band called Livin' on Luck.

Penny Arslanian, Flute
I am currently living in St. Louis, Missouri.  I have had a wonderful and varied music career, from performing, to teaching, to being the Executive Director of a Music Conservatory.  Currently I am the Director of Music and Liturgy for a large Catholic parish.  The GBYSO trip to the UK was a highlight for me.

Seth Barad, Trombone
After high school, I attended Tufts and Harvard Business School, got married, and worked for 20 years as an executive in management consulting and financial services firms, while living in Boston, New York, London, and San Francisco at various times. In 2000, I left the "for profit" world and began a second career as a consultant to nonprofits and a part-time lecturer in two MBA programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I live with my wife and two boys. I attend San Francisco Symphony concerts with my elderly parents, who share my fond memories of my teenage years as a high school musician.
